Smoke and Soot Cleanup at a Repair Shop

Oily rags and cartons in a repair shop ignited from a welding spark. No structural damage occurred, no cars were torched, but there was a messy residue on the floor, parts of the walls, and on the surface of several vehicles. For liability concerns, they called us in to clean up the bay and the cars. We aired out the place, since a large bay door was available and open, with large box fans as we used our machines and detergents to remove the sooty residue. We documented our work for the proprietor, and he was relieved to know that no permanent damage had been done to his customers' cars nor his place of business.
