I am married to a Montgomery County teacher, and we have two daughters, ages fourteen and ten. We actively support our daughters’ extracurricular activities, which include soccer, lacrosse, and basketball.”

Thomas Murphy

Thomas Murphy District Manager for certain areas up in Washington, DC.

I have served for SERVPRO of Washington as a District Manager for 8 years, and it has been both an adventure and pleasure. Before this, I’d worked for SERVPRO of Virginia and Baltimore as a warehouse manager.

My favorite color is green, and overall most of my fulfillment has come from helping others, particularly those that have suffered a loss related to our services.

To aid in any form of relief is refreshing, to say the least!

I enjoy spending time with my family, my dogs and working on home projects.

Melissa Pepe

Melissa Pepe is a District Manager for SERVPRO of Washington, DC. Her passion for helping others and her experience with biotoxin illness led her to her current role at SERVPRO. Now she helps our clients gain awareness of the impacts of environmental incidents, such as water leaks and mold, and supports them through our disaster recovery processes, including fires. She enjoys creating strong/impactful, long-lasting/thriving relationships with those she serves and is proud to be a part of the Disaster Recovery Team.

Outside of work, you will find Melissa enjoying the sun, exploring new places and activities, learning mind-body connection techniques and neuroscience, and blogging to expand awareness to others / share her knowledge with others. As a creative problem-solver, she enjoys brainstorming out-of-the-box solutions and experimenting with performance or health-boosting hacks.
