Water Heater Loss, causes Mold Damage
This was a Mold Damage that occurred from a Water Heater Leak. The before photos show the condition of the stand and surrounding areas, prior to beginning the mitigation remediation process. The after shows how the damage areas were remediated, and prepped for dry out. It is important to remove all areas affected in this situation, where drying in place is not an option.
This was a 3 man crew to assist with this mold damage, as two men alone were needed to remove the water heater, in order to properly mitigate the area.
Crews followed the IICRC S520 Guidelines for Mold Removal. An IH was brought in to test and write the remediation protocol that SERVPRO followed. A test was performed after the remediation was done, to insure all mold had been removed, and the results showed clear.
