Tragic Result of Burning Bedroom

The flames and smoke engulfed more than just the bedroom in this home. The water removal was quickly accomplished even as we were demolishing the charred and non-salvageable interior building materials. Our SERVPRO crew tossed the items as per local regulations and prepped the premises for fire damage restoration. The HVAC system was saved after we cleaned out the ducts and replaced the filters every day for five days. We used ozone and hydroxyl machines to neutralize the airborne smoke particulates and reduce the odors. We used thermal fogging for further odor reduction and sanitizing.
